So You Want To Cave…..
If you want to enter the realm of the underground it is recommended that you first take a wild tour at one of the commercial caves in Colorado. (See out links page) Once you have completed one of the wild caves tour and know that you feel comfortable off the trail in a cave it is recommended that you contact one of the local grottos (caving clubs) in your area and get involved. Experienced cravers will be happy to introduce you to the world of wild caving.
If you prefer to venture out on your own there are a number of cave in Colorado that are available to the novice or recreational caver. A number of these caves are listed here.
Remember where ever you go safety is the NUMBER ONE concern. Please see some of the pages at the national caving (www.caves.org)organizations web site to familiarize yourself with recommended equipment and safety.
