Cave Geology Class Offered at Red Rocks College

Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado will be offering a cave geology class taught by former National Park Service National Cave Specialist Ronal Kerbo the weekends of April 24-25 and May 1-2, 2010. Featuring a field trip to the Cave of the Winds and the Manitou Grand Caverns at Manitou Springs, Colorado, the class offers 2 credit hours. Fee for the class is $342.35 for Colorado residents.

Having taught the geology class for several years, Ron reports this will be his last sessions as an instructor. Often, Ron includes lectures by knowledgeable guests such as Harvey DuChene and Dr. Fred Luiszer.
