Cave Rescue Card 2009

I'm wondering who took over the 2009 version of the Colorado Cave Rescue Call-Out Card. I was going over the names on the card and it looks like some familiar names are gone, and people I've never heard of are on it.

Carl Bern handed out the cards at the Front Range Grotto meeting on August 18, so I suspect Carl was involved with the project.

Carl has nothing to do with it except to help hand the new ones out. Marty has taken it over and is using people that have attended the rescue seminars over the past five years. There is a mock rescue set up for Groaning next month. It's all search exercises without all the patient packaging and sked use BS. You going to go Randy? LP and I will be there on Sunday.

What's the date and info for this rescue session at Groaning? I haven't heard of it yet.

The yellow CCRN rescue call-out cards being distributed are the third edition since the the first ones I made up in January 2005. Dan is correct that Marty is now making the decisions as to who is listed on the cards. My understanding is that it is limited to cavers who have attended some kind of CCRN training or activity in the last five years. Since I had experience getting it done cheaply, I volunteered to get the cards printed, laminated, cut, and distributed.

Let me know if you or your grotto need some. I'll have a stack at the upcoming CCS meeting to pass along to the western slope.
